Ken is the passion and vision of N2Care. He gives direction and leadership to the overall operations and performance of N2Care. He is the point man for the leadership team, implementing the strategic goals and objectives for the organization. He maintains and energizes corporate vision and planning and serves as the link to investors and the advisory board. In just three years he has charted a course and transformed the MEDCottage from an academic notion to a new medical product.
Ken has more than 25 years experience in non-profit administration, including organizational goals, capital procurement, financial oversight and membership development. His education credentials consist of a certificate of advanced studies from Temple University School of Business and Law in Tokyo, a master's degree concentrated in diplomatic studies, and a bachelor's degree in organization management. He also has background in biblical studies as an ordained minister and is presently completing a Ph.D.
Susan ensures the vision of N2Care is carried out in all areas of operation, including design, production and distribution. She institutes procedures, cost analysis and timelines to ensure the smooth functioning of all strategic goals. As director of operations, she serves on the leadership team and provides direct support to the CEO.
Susan joined N2Care at its inception with 13 years of administrative and management experience in a dynamic environment that experienced phenomenal growth in market share and revenue. Susan earned a bachelor of arts degree from Anderson University. She has also worked in the hospice and social service industries.
Molly brings energy and passion to the N2Care team. Her 25 years of service in the healthcare profession accentuates her commitment to our product and mission. Her background includes service in hospitals, home health and hospice work. Molly's work in providing resources and solutions for the aged and disabled contributes to product development and to her role of director of marketing. Molly handles media communications, domestic and international, and maintains social media outlets for N2Care and the MEDCottage. She supports our distributors and counsels the CEO and corporate team.
Earning a Bachelor of Arts degree from Mary Baldwin College in Sociology and a Master's Degree in Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University, Molly also maintains certifications required by the health care industry as well as continuing education in the area of gerontology and mental health. Prior to health care, she worked in the airline industry traveling the world. Her personal interests are in health and fitness, travel and raising her two sons.
Jackie directs all aspects of N2Care's finance and investor relations. She oversees fiscal management and all matters related to financial accountability. As a member of the leadership team, she participates in developing N2Care's strategic goals and business strategy. Prior to joining N2Care, she worked 30 years in the electric utility industry and most recently as an administrator and faculty member at Averett University and Bluefield College. She is a member of the Board of Trustees at the Roanoke Higher Education Center and Board of Trustees member at Mary Baldwin College. Jackie has a Ph.D. in business administration, master's degree in liberal studies and a Bachelor's degree in business.
Janis provides leadership in areas of design and engineering. Her focus for N2Care is assistive technology design and systems engineering. In addition, she serves as spokesperson on matters concerning assistive technology and grant coordination with public and private sectors. Janis currently resides in Iowa, where she is the department chair and Joseph Walkup Professor of Industrial and Manufacturing Systems Engineering at Iowa State University (ISU). Janis also is the Director of the Center for e-Design, a multi-university industry cooperative research consortium. She was previously a professor in the Departments of Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Education and Industrial and Systems Engineering at Virginia Tech. She has also worked as a Program Director at the National Science Foundation. Prior to serving as a professor of engineering, she worked for one of the world's leading multi-national corporations. Janis has a Ph.D. in industrial and systems engineering, a master's degree in industrial and systems engineering and bachelor's degree in mathematical sciences.
Mark focuses on the strategy and design of the technical components and unifies them into a coherent and functional package. He oversees research of the assistive devices and assures quality through technology development. Mark has expert knowledge in AutoCAD and has an extensive background as an architectural technician. He has specialized experience in designing health care and senior-living facilities. His expertise also includes floor plan management and implementing layouts. Mark has a degree in civil engineering and architectural technology.
Kim manages the intellectual property for N2Care. She oversees matters relating to copyright, trademarks, and patents. Kim is a published author in the academic journal International Academy of Business Disciplines owing to her research regarding senior adult issues and the growth of the baby boom healthcare industry. Kim is fluent in Spanish and continues to work as a volunteer in developing regions of Central America. She has a master's degree in liberal studies with a concentration in social science and a bachelor's degree in modern languages.
